Research project
AI-driven Proteoform-based Drug Repurposing for Targeted Cancer Therapies
Rationale and Objectives
The primary goal of this project is to utilize AI to identify and repurpose existing drugs for targeted treatment of hematologic malignancies, particularly focusing on lymphoma and leukemia.
Leveraging advanced computational techniques, the project aims to:
- Predicting drug repurposing outcomes through proteoform analysis and mechanistic insights.
- Applying network-based approaches to map drug-target interactions and identify key molecular pathways influenced by the drugs of interest.
- Exploring molecular signatures to uncover mechanisms of treatment response and resistance, facilitating more informed drug repurposing and identification of translational biomarkers.

This project may be adapted to the evolving needs of the host laboratory while remaining within hemato-oncology research. The DC will undertake one or more secondments with a total duration of at least three months and up to one year. These secondments may take place within or outside the DN, preferably in international and intersectoral settings.
